Meet Dr. Zavala
Dr. Zavala is dedicated to helping create beautiful smiles for his friends and neighbors in Round Rock. Dr. Zavala earned his dental degree from UT-San Antonio, after earning his bachelor’s degree from Baylor. Dr. Zavala is a member of the ADA, the Texas Dental Association, Capitol Area Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Zavala constantly engages in postgraduate education as the most effective way of offering his patients the best dentistry available. Since graduation from dental school, Dr. Zavala has earned two preceptorships in orthodontics, and trained in the early detection of bite problems, allowing earlier and less extensive orthodontic treatment for children with the use of retainers. Recent training has been in the areas of implants, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics.
Dr. Zavala participles in the life of the community by sponsoring local high school children for full dental treatment and working on mobile dental vans to reach out to those who might not otherwise receive dental care. He and his wife, Jennifer, recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy, who joins his siblings Caroline, Pablo and Elena. When he can get away from the office, Dr. Zavala enjoys family, travel and playing sports.
